Spam Score Checker — Check Website Spam Risk Free
Instantly check any domain's Spam Score, alongside DA, PA and DR, before you link to it, buy it, or accept a guest post on it.
How our Spam Score works
Every domain we check runs through several independent, free signals that correlate with spammy or low-quality sites, and the results are combined into a single 0-17 score (0 = lowest risk, 17 = highest risk) — the same familiar scale used elsewhere in the industry, so the numbers are easy to interpret at a glance:
- Domain age — very young domains (under 1-2 years) score higher risk, since disposable spam domains are typically short-lived.
- DNS blocklist hits — we check public, no-key DNSBLs (Spamhaus DBL, SURBL) for known-bad domain listings.
- HTTPS status — missing or invalid SSL is a mild risk signal.
- TLD risk — some top-level domains (e.g. .xyz, .top, .click) are statistically over-represented in spam/abuse data.
We deliberately keep this transparent — see the full breakdown on our methodology page. A low score is a good sign, not a guarantee; always sanity-check a domain manually before a high-value decision like a link purchase.
